What the Geograhical Society did in 1980 ?
The new committee took the reins of the society during the second term of 1980. The main objective of the society is to help its members in their HSC or STP examination.
The first project was a seminar conducted by two professors from the University Malaya on how to answer the HSC or STP questions on Regional and Physical Geography. Other activities included the cyclostyling of STP Geography past-year series on Papers 1, 2 and 4.
Another activity carried out was a picnic trip to Pulau Besar. The aim of the trip was to widen the knowledge of the students on Physical Geography and also to survey the island. The highlight of the year was the Annual Inter-School Geography and Historical Quiz which was held in August 1980.
